in this book there are what i call four mini books. there not really mini each story has about 100 pages.
the stories all tie to nicely. if i remember this correctly (i read the book a few months back) the first one(in the forests of the night) is the story of risika a girl who longs to get her humanity back. she regrets a choice she made and longs for revenge against the one who did this to her. she struggles with who she is and in the end she finds the answers and gains the things she wanted all along. in the next one (demon in my view) brings us a character from the first. and the story also brings a little love. in this one a girls story brings her trouble and the life she always wanted. she also kinda makes friends with a which who helps her in the end. book three(shattered mirror) well bring the witches back. are witch from before is only aside character. it shows just how deep blood, love, lonesomeness, and the power to hurt someone can truly go. a family that has been torn apart is put back together and another kinda torn apart. love overpowers all and wins in the end. this was truly my fave in the book. the book shows you just how impotent family really is. last we have(midnight predator) this one really shows that if you love each other love will always prevail and differences don't matter. an ancient town is brought to life once again but the old rule wants the town back. but the new ruler will not back down he is determined to keep her and her evil ways from his new almost peaceful town. the girl in this one has always wanted revenge but learns in can be more bitter than anything else. so pick up a copy of this book right away. each one of theses stories takes place in the vampire world. each one gets better than the last. enjoy reading
