RED RIDING HOOD A NOVEL BY SARAH BLAKLEY-CARTWRIGHT BASED ON A SCREEN PLAY WRITTEN BY DAVID LESLIE JOHNSON INTRODUCTION BY CATHERINE HARDWICKE

 I believe based on the author list and things I've read on the internet this was written after the screen play for the movie was written. I do not like this factor it made the book seam more like i was reading a very detailed script not a novel. The book seamed to drag on and characters seamed almost incomplete. The story switches randomly to different views of the characters. The story is about a town who has been plagued by a ware wolf for years and after the main character Valerie's sister dies a priest who turns out to be evil, (and try's to control the town) is called to rid the town of the  ware wolf for ever.  She ends up in a tiny kinda not existing love triangle. And ends up learning fate and hers friends can not be trusted. I would recommend seeing the movie first when normally i would rather tell you to read the book first. (after almost forcing my self to continue reading it ) When you get to the end it leaves off UN finish the real end will probably be told in the movie. The ending for the book  comes out march 14 on the books website. this is the exact reason books should be written first not later.I don't mind when a book with a scheduled squeal levees you cutt off butt one that doesn't  why even spend the time and money. now if i want a copy of the book with the ending ill probably need to buy a new copy. That's even if they put the ending in the book ever. I was disappointed with the novel but am looking forward to the movie after all the plot and story idea was good. i don't recommend even purchasing a copy of the book. if you must read it go get one from your local library. BLOOD COVEN BY MARI MANCUSI ***book 5***

Book 5 is called night school and is by rayne's point of view. So after hearing the most shocking news ever about there Fae heritage there dads apartment is attacked by the Fairy army looking to take sunny back with them to be there queen. The girls step mom hide them away at a slayer inc school way deep in the Swiss alps. Rayne has two big problems one shes a vampire among trained vampire killers and two shes a vampire who has no access to blood. And on top of all this sunny is braking down she doesn't want be a  Fairy queen and she can't contact her boyfriend. Rayne is basically on her own and in an act to help her sister turns her self into a Fairy. Her wings are growing fast so is her hunger. The girls nearly get out but the alpha's  (the best slayers in the school. who are mean and kinda annoying) catch them and have them join there secret party. When out of no were the fairy attack and rayne gets hurt. The main alpha Corbin carries her to a new cave and returns when it's safe. Rayne's left with no choice she turns on her vamp sent and seduces him into letting her bite him. Its her first taste of human blood and she almost doesn't stop in time. but he ends up ok. sunny starts to act strange shes not upset about magnus in fact doesn't even really seem to remember who he is. In another week moment a few days latter while alone with Corbin she bites him again nearly killing him. The school is put on lock down they know there's a fairy vamp on school grounds.During the lock down Corbin learns raynes secret and when she goes looking for sunny she learns Sunny's been taken by fairies and they placed a imposer in her place. The school captures her and she learns the headmistress here is trying to create an army to take over the world. she's using old alphas for her experiments and has failed every time she hopes raynes blood will be the answer. They have Corbin and her locked up. She use her vamp call to try and find help. And just her luck Rachelle an old vamp feeder who is now a vamp helps them brake out and gives her life to help them get away. She united with her beloved and tells him what happened hes furious and tells her hell see what he can do after all hes now co master of the blood coven. Magnus, rayne, Corbin and jareth set out to save sunny. But well resting in a hotel in Ireland rayne ends up biting  Corbin again and this time his lucks run out and jareth turns him into a vampire. When magnus finds out hes matter than hell but sunny comes first and he needs rayne's help to rescue her. Corbin's shipped off to the Coven and they set out to fairy land. To everyone's surprise it looks like Disney world.  The fairy time is different then the human time so only jareth and rayne can enter. When they see sunny for the first time she acts like she doesn't even know them. They try to use underground tunnels to reach the castle but tinker bell her self stops them and there throne  into prison. Rayne finds her parents there too and she knows they have to get out. The fairies have place a sliver net on jareth and its killing him. She once again sends a message out. Magnus shows up and sets them all free but jareth is hurt badly and sent to safety. while in the tunnel the fairy army attacks and the leader apple blossom almost kills her but her dad gives his life and kills apple blossom but sadly dies. :(   they get there just in time to stop the wedding and save sunny. there mom takes over has queen and the girls are sent to live with there step mom.  so ive read the first two chapters of blood ties the next book but im going to Waite to read the whole book before i blog about. and really read this series put it at the top i didn't tell you everything just a quick summary. they'll leave you happy sad and any other emotion you can think. she's a great writer and this series will leave you thinking about for months after you've read it. enjoy reading.

 Book four is called bad blood and it is in Sunny's point of view once again. Sunny is pissed that her boy friend magnus didn't tell her he was taking on a new blood mate. And it just got worse for her the biteing ceromony is taking place this friday in vagas. The girl is lying about who she is and were she came from. Sunny wants to go to Vegas to expose her but magnus thinks shes just jealous and refuses to let her come along. So she goes to rayne who comes up with a plain. They tell there mom they want to go see there dad who just happens to live in Vegas. And off they go to see there dad and meet there step mom and her kids. But dads not there and they learn they have not only a step sister but a half sister who's eleven years old both are struck with pain since there dad only split four years ago.Rayne spends the whole trip gamboling. Sunny joins this play to learn more about the girl Jane whos so close to being sceond in comand of the blood coven. She meets Jayden who's seems to be her soul mate who would be in another life. Together they bring down an evil vamp whose working with Jane to take over the blood coven. Jane is exposed , they learn she killed her twin. That it was her twin who was the perfect fit for the blood coven not her. Rayne ends up staking the her and all is saved. Jayden is hurt from helping kill the evil vamp who was helping Jane. Sunny doesn't know what to do she likes him but he convinces her to give magnus a chance. She ends up giving him a kiss good by and magnus sees. She quickly pulls some damage control and things will hopefully be fine they both make promises. She performs in a real play and after, her parents brake the news that her and rayne are both faerie princesses.

BLOOD COVEN BY MARI MANCUSI ***book 3******

Here's the next  of the books. Book three is called girls that growl it's still by rayne's point of view and her and  Jareth have like no vampire powers. Except they can go in the sun.  Anyway she's now a vampire vampire slayer.And slayer inc has another job for her , rumors are going around that the cheerleaders are growling and on top of that a local boy is missing so rayne needs to join the team to find out what is going on exactly. She gets on the team by blackmailing the team captain who used to be a best friend. Her first game is on the night of the full moon and after the game ends the cheerleaders all but one that is turn in to a pack of werewolf. They spend the night trashing places in town. On top off that another boy is missing.  Rayne traces the cheerleaders steps and figures out were they got bitten and  got the virus. So her and jareth make plans to go to of all places England. But after a fight with her mom about her mom;s boyfriend moving in she leaves and crashes the car. Jareth decides rayne is having a hard time with the transformation she's still drinking synthetic blood after a few months of being a vampire. He orders her to stay in the coven and see a shrink while he leaves for England to look for the cure for the cheerleaders. Rayne is mad and pulls the twin switchover and sunny took her place in the coven. She surprised Jareth on the plane and he let her stay and continue on to England. once there rayne pisses off the bitchy England vamps by pulling out her stake. Jareth is angry and he tells her it isn't going to work and when they get back they need to go there separate ways. Sad and feeling alone rayne goes to a bar and ends up wandering off with a boy. That boy is the ware wolf who turned the cheerleaders. he holds rayne captive wanting her to be his werewolf  bride. She learns that he has the boys from school captive as well and with no vamp powers she cant help her self or the boys.  She use the only thing she an she use her telepathic power to call jareth for help but sadly it only works one way and doesn't no if he heard it or not. But he shows up just in time and saves the day it turns out he had his vamp powers back but he could still go out in the sun. They make up killed the bad wolf and got the cure to the cheerleaders everything was finally going OK till a red head girl shows up announcing that shes magnus's new blood mate to be.

BLOOD COVEN BY MARI MANCUSI ****books 1-2*****

So i decided to write another entry on this series only this time about each of the books. I'm warning you now this blog entry is probably going to be a spoiler alert. So if you haven't read any of the books don't read this entry read my other entry about the series.  The first book is called boys that bite and it's told from Sunny's point of view. It starts off by Sunny's goth loving twin sister rayne dragging her to this new goth club called club fang.    There she's mistaken for her twin and bite by the vampire Magnus.  She finds out not only is she turning into a vampire but he is now her blood mate. She has one week to reverse the process. She and magnus travel to England to find the holly grail. They end up getting the grail and falling in love with each other. At the last minute they reverse the curse and everything seems to be happy for the time being. Magnus is even the new blood coven leader.  In the next book steak that it switches to rayne's point of view. She is back on the waiting list for a blood mate considering her last bite her sister and is now her boyfriend. She wants nothing more than to be forever a creature of the night but fate has her going in a different direction. The school drama couch practically  forces rayne to become a slayer for slayer inc. Her first mission is to slay an evil vamp Maverick who is spreading a blood virus in an attempt to take over the blood coven. Rayne gets a little help from the vampire Jareth who annoys her more than anything. He's nothing but a jerk but slowly starts to be nice toward her. Rayne cant help it shes falling for him. Rayne not only faces the troubles of love and evil vamps but inner problems that she has kept pushed deep down inside her start to explode. When they finally get there chance to steal a copy of the virus. Maverick captures rayne and injects her with the virus,but he makes the mistake of letting her go thing that with out her stake she cant hurt him. But he was wrong and rayne uses a chair leg and stakes him. They end up saving magnus and the blood coven but now rayne has only three days to live and shes dieing fast. In a final act's of love Jareth brings rayne's  dad to see her and offers her the choice to be his blood mate. If she say's yes both of them could end up with no vamp powers. But she loves him and he loves her so she accepts and they are now forever blood mates.

BEASTLY BY ALEX FLINN

OK so if  your a beauty and the beast fan you'll  love this book.  Its a classic new twist to the classic story. Its about this boy in ninth grade who thinks looks are everything. Its really not his fault either his father raised him that way.  He plays a really mean prank on a girl at school who ends up being a which. Hes turned in to a ugly beast and cause right before the spell was cast he did one little nice thing he has two years to try and brake the spell. After that hes stuck a beast. He ends up learning  to find beauty in the simplest things in life. I like that the beauty in this story the one  who brakes the spell is really just an average Jane doe. any way its really one of my favorite story lines ever and this in my mind is the best version of the story.the young boy learns his lesson in the end and also tag's on some more things to help others and not only him self if i were you id get this book soon cause on march 4 it comes out in theater. Read book first the movie has already changed some key elements.
so enjoy this book as much as i did. So im really looking  forward to seeing the movie even though its obvious they changed some major details.

BANISHED BY SOPHIE LITTLEFIELD

OK so this book goes over some pretty cool and interesting concepts. The story takes place in a small town in Missouri. Its called gypsum or as the locals call it trash down. Her name is Hailey and shes taken on a wild adventure were she learns about  her self and her family also about the strange people that live in her town. She has a awesome connection with her adopted brother chub. He has some problems that he works out which i think was one of the best parts. Watching him grow and learn was so cool. Anyway back to Haily she goes on her journey when her long lost aunt comes and swiftly brings her away.It has parts that are quick and exciting. I didn't like how it seamed to drag on there were parts i would of removed or made a little bit funner.  It lacked the fun smart a**  comments that most teenagers would say. On of my fave things about teen books is that teens all act like teens they say and do funny things. While Hailey is a great person and character i find her to respectful and willing to obey every command. I mean there are a few times when she stands her ground but only a few. i would say my fave character is kaz. i wish he were in it more. I also love sawyer i really wish he was in more so wondering more about him. It ends abruptly wish makes me so unhappy but happy at the same time. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. so order Ur copy to toady. enjoy the reading.;
